Timex Trail Runner Navigation Features:
- Enhanced 3D GPS Functionality to provide
- Latitude - East/West position expressed in degrees, minutes, and seconds from the Greenwich Meridian.
- Longitude - North/South position expressed in degrees, minutes, and seconds from the equator.
- Altitude - Current height above sea level with ascent and descent rates
- Navigation Mode - Navigate Mode displays directional information and tracks your speed, distance, and altitude during an activity. Using a system of Waypoints (a point between the beginning and ending point on a route), they serve as landmarks during an activity and can be used to help you find your way from your ending point back to your beginning point.
Waypoints Mode displays positional information and allows you to store up to 10 waypoints to mark specific navigational locations during your activity. Waypoints Mode also includes the Track Back feature that allows you to navigate from your current position to a stored waypoint.
