DescriptionSuunto PC POD is one of the Peripheral Observation Devices from Suunto, and is designed to expand the functionality of your wristop computer. Training enthusiasts, as well as professionals such as personal trainers and physiotherapists, will find Suunto PC POD an invaluable aid to their programs. Suunto PC POD's wireless connection, with a 10m range, allows you to send your training data directly to your PC. The special monitoring software delivered with the PC POD displays and records 1-3 athletes\' heart rate data, in real time during the exercise. The PC POD also makes it possible to wirelessly download training data from the memory of Suunto t6 wristop computers. Now, while training indoors, as well as wearing a device on your wrist, you can see the data visually represented in graph or HR format on your PC screen. The PC POD plugs in to your PC's USB port, meaning that no battery is required. Data is sent from the heart rate transmitter belt to your PC wirelessly and digitally, using ANT transmission technology, which eliminates interference from other devices in the vicinity. This means that even when using the PC POD at the gym or other public place, you can be sure that the information you receive is accurate and personal. Thanks to the individually identifiable Suunto ANT heart rate belts, the PC POD can be used to receive up to three persons\' heart rate simultaneously. The PC POD also enables you to wirelessly download data from your Suunto T3, T4 or T6 wristop computer to your PC. However, for Suunto T6 wristop computers manufactured before October 2005, this requires you to send your Suunto T6 to a Suunto Service Center for a free-of-charge update. Suunto PC POD makes a new type of training control possible. For a variety of applications, viewing and analyzing your training data, in real time without having to wait until you\'re finished, becomes a convenient and practical possibility. At home or at the gym, on an exercise bike or rowing machine, for example, you can visually keep track of the effectiveness of you session by following your progress on your PC screen. The device will also prove invaluable for various kinds of physiotherapy programs and condition monitoring, where the professional needs to monitor the clients physical performance graphically in real time. | ||
