The heart rate monitor can be utilized in target zone training by setting the upper and lower limits for your heart rate, and notifying you when these preset limits are exceeded, with audio and visual alarms. The altimeter in combination with the heart rate monitor keep track of the impact of altitude and vertical rate of movement on the heart rate when moving outdoors. Suunto Advizor also stores crucial information for later viewing: Training time, maximum, minimum, and average heart rate, as well as time spent in, above, and below the target zone during training.  | ||
